Nindigully Pub Famous Pig Races

Hop in your car and tow your van for a weekend getaway and join me and many others at one of Queensland's oldest pubs. Situated on the banks of the Moonie River, this pub has become a beloved spot for both locals and travelers to enjoy a drink and camp. The publican of the Nindigully Pub, Steve Burns, along with his late wife Debbie, has built a strong reputation for their dedication to supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service through ongoing donations. These contributions are made possible by the patrons and campers who visit Nindigully each year.

The day includes live music from myself and some of Steve and crew favorite artists, raffles, auctions, market stalls, a jumping castle, fireworks, and, of course, the pig races. They also gather and count all the cash donations from the pub ceiling that visitors toss up with thumb tacks throughout the year. It's never too late or too early to try your luck at getting it to stick on the first attempt! Nindigully is also home to the famous "Road Train" burger! This meal can satisfy around four hungry people with its juicy 1.2 kg beef patty and sides. Or you can take it on solo! So, what are you waiting for???
